Ciana Fitzgerald graduated with First Class Honours from NCAD in 2016, and was shortlisted for the RDS Visual Art Award, the Talbot Gallery Award, and nominated for the NCAD Staff Prize. Her work has been published in the Irish Arts Review, and in the medical Guidebook on Implementation of quality improvement in General Practice funded by the European Commission.
Her recent work includes ‘INTIMACY: A Conversation with Ciana Fitzgerald’ artist talk at the Science Gallery Dublin, Solo Show at Atelier Andersartig in Solingen Germany, lighting and aesthetic engineer at the Pfefferberg theatre Berlin, Kunst : Raum : Klinik collaborative exhibition in Leverkusen Germany, exhibition at the Greenacres Gallery Spring and Summer Shows 2019 and at the Irish International Opera Festival. Her 2018 exhibitions include ‘Everything Flows’ –Irish Opera Festival Art Exhibition, ‘Craw’ Alternative Music and Arts Festival in Berlin, and ‘In-Vision’ Video art and Creative Film Festival shown at The Lighthouse Cinema Dublin. 2017 exhibitions include ‘Soul Noir’ Festival Dublin, ‘D E E P Transmission 1’ online short film exhibition premiered on Memory.is, ‘Healthy Doctors Need Time for Healthy Living’ plenary presentation video, Paris. 2016 exhibitions include ‘Short Cinema Expo’ Atelier014 in Utrecht, The Netherlands and ‘Intangible Forms’ exhibition in NCAD MFA building, Dublin.
